google calender not working after Upgarde

Phone: Motorola XT 530
Android Version 2.3.5

I updated the android version 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 Official.
But after that Google calender stopped working. Sync for it is also not working.

How to rectify it.

A couple different times after I flashed a new rom and didn't wipe cache as well as dalvic cache I got no google calendar and market was a little wonky. Could search but credentials didn't work to dload anything.
You might try to reinstall and wipe first.
This is of course assuming your rom has google apps or you installed that seperately.
