Google cardboard galaxy s4 screen drift

Hello everyone not sure if I'm in the correct please but here it goes

I put my Google cardboard together last night and placed my galaxy s4, at 1st I thought brilliant this could be fun, then I notice the screen drifting to the left which made it unusable and very frustrating.

Has anyone else noticed this problem or is it only on my s4 any help would be appreciated

I've just tried it with my old galaxy s2 and no drift, still looking for help with the s4 though please
