Google Chrome problems on Mac

Is anyone else out of the blue having problems with Chrome on a Mac? I have been using it for a year without a problem and all of a sudden in the last few days I noticed my Mac mini slowing down and getting alot of the spinning beach balls. I would reboot and everything was fine..I would open Chrome and it would start doing it again. I finally started using safari again and its running fine. I did some research and it seems there are others with this problem..anyone here?

Edit- nevermind...its still doing it with safari also..must be a computer problem.

Try doing Repair Permissions in Disk Utility. Disk errors can cause Macs to 'beachball'.

I have tried all that stuff and a no go...just did a time machine back to an earlier date and it wont even boot up..I'm going to try a full restore and if that doesn't fix it its going back to my apple man..still less than a year since I bought it.

The Mac was originally hanging (beachballing) and now wont boot at all. That sounds very much like the hard-drive is dead.
