Google Chrome's AdBlock application is now... CatBlock?

I use Chrome with AdBlock to block the ads and the dev all of a sudden decide to put in random cat pictures in place!!!
My life is complete

It was for april fools day.

They got such a positive response that the dev is going to make it a monthly service you can pay for.
 
Yup you're right! I just read that. I don't think I will be paying for it though. I think I'd rather have the clean look of no random boxes all over the place.
