I tried using the web app on my Chromebook only to see eye-straining whitespace and cards, along with that annoying to read dark grey font. i don't want to revisit WebOS or use the same crap that once tried to force itself onto my Android phone before i forced the classic Play Store on it.
on a Chromebook, you can't simply uninstall updates. i do remember reading somewhere about classic view, supposedly on Gmail, but i can't find it on G+'s web version. is there a script in the Chrome Web Store that can restore the old view, sort of like the one used in Firefox to force classic view in Facebook? it's either that or live with using G+ on my phone or tablet.
