Google desktop widgets on G1?

Hello i would like to see more widdgets for G1 or at least see the G1 to be able to use the same widgets used on igoogle page or desktop.
currently there is just the search for google and picture viewer and analog clock widdget but there should be more.

As soon as google release a version of the SDK that allows "us" developers to create widgets, the market will begin filling up with them. End users and developers alike are keen for widgets to become available, and I bet the first decent widgets to hit the "market" will be weather apps and clocks, closely followed by gmail widgets then some sys-info widgets, then perhaps the rolling eye widgets.
