I am looking for an app that will allow OFFLINE editing of google docs and also at least preserve the existing rich text - though rich text editing would be nice.
GDocs works ok, it downloads and works offline and usually syncs back up when online, but it is not rich text and worse it wipes out all the rich text formatting in the document you edit. It would be great if this or an app like it at least left the rich text intact, even if it could only insert plain text.
The other 'office' apps I have found look like they do not allow offline editing, or the offline editing is not automatic - for example one app allowed you to save the document but then it would not sync/save back up or update the local copy based on a newer copy on google.
