Hi all,
I have a bit of a random problem with Google Fit that I have no idea how to fix. Quite often I get the notification to say that I've hit my exercise activity goal for the day and when I go into look at it it'll tell me I've done an hour or more of cycling today.
Trouble is, I don't own a bike!
It happened the other day for example. I spent the day driving to another town, then caught the train home. Both the car journey and the train journey registered as cycling within Google Fit, and while I would be really really happy if I could cycle as fast as a train can travel, it simply isn't possible.
Is there any way to turn off the reporting of cycling? Or configure it in a way that it doesn't confuse driving at 70mph on the motorway or 100mph on a train as cycling? I have data switched on so the phone knows where it is, so this baffles me as it should be able to work out roughly how fast I am travelling as I connect to each new cell tower on the journey.
Thanks
