Google frame error

Hello, last week i received a message on my phone that said Framework(process com.google.process.gapps) is not working, and must force close. i didnt notice anything about it until i wasnt able to recieve or send pictures or videos. Ive tried all the suggestions like clear data and caches, but that does not help. the only thing i havent done is a master reset, and id hate to do all that and lose the apps on my phone. i believe it just may be a lost cause and i may have to get a new phone. any suggestions? thanks in advance.

This is more of a phone question than a Metro one, it would help if you specify what phone you have (add it to your profile, along with your carrier, so the info is always available to us when you post).
Although you will lose all apps and data when you do a reset, once you log back into your Google account your apps will all be available for re-download. You can also back up your data to Google's cloud servers before doing the reset, if you have not already done so, or if your phone is rooted you can use Titanium Backup to do so locally.
