google goggles bar code scanning?

Ive been playing with google goggles and i dont know if i have a wierd quirk or if it is just the way the program works. I try to scan a barcode and it doesnt allow me to get focused on to the bar code. once it realizes it is a bar code it just automatic shoots the picture before it can focus. Is this typical?

I have big problems on pages that have barcodes next to each other.. it borks the scan. I have to use barcode scanner. they should fix this issue.

For me, Google Goggles almost always snaps the picture a bit prematurely (with blur) when shooting bar codes or QR codes, but I've never seen it fail to recognize such a blurry bar code or QR code. Maybe Google is just trying to save you some time because Goggles doesn't need a perfectly crisp bar code or QR code in order to recognize it. Why do you care if it snaps a blurry photo? Is it failing to recognize the bar code or QR code?

yes.. it is failing. that is exactly why i care. otherwise I wouldnt give a crap. :D not only that, but as stated, when viewing a page that has two codes next to each other it snaps both codes and then gets confused.
