Google hangouts

Anyone been using Google Hangouts for a while? Has the updated improved it or is it still buggy. I used it back in December when I started Project FI but switched over to messenger and stock dialer was maybe looking to go back I like the idea of one app for both messaging and phone calls

Hangouts is my favorite message app. Especially for group chats. I use it more than default messaging.

I use it for SMS/MMS and IM. It is much nicer than a year ago.

Still not perfect though.

Nah not as dialer. Since calls are data, if an actual voice call comes in it cuts the data call immediately.

I use the Hangouts Dialer quite often when I'm at home using a WiFi connection. VOIP calls with relatives who like to talk on and on and on are more enjoyable when I know all those minutes aren't affecting my monthly cellular bill.
