Newbie here so if this is in the wrong place please accept my apologies.
I have had my htc hero for a week now and I am still having trouble with google. Whenever I try and download an application it prompts me to sign in or create a google profile. I have tried this dozens of times but every time it comes back saying my sim card is not enabled for data syncronising or something similar. I created an account on my pc so all i have to do is sign in but it still won't let me in. I can get onto the net and the wi-fi and 3g work fine but still nothing.
I have spoken to Orange but they are stumped aswell. I'm not used to these type of phones yet and obviously need guidance.
Please help.

Welcome to the Forums pnealan

Just a quick tip to see if this helps , When you go to Sign in make sure you use only the first part of the Email address.

For example: BLAH123@GOOGLEMAIL.COM you simply put "BLAH123" as the username followed by your password. Give that a go to see if that signs you in

P.S. The reason you can not access the Market is because you need to be signed into a Google account first. Then it will allow you to download and have access to it. #

P.S.S. When do you get this Data Synchronization problem ? What model is your phone?

Have tried that still the Same. I get "your sim is not provisioned for data service " after it tries to communicate with Google. I can browse other sites no problem.
