I have been using inbox for a couple days still getting use to it I watched a few YouTube tutorials to get a better understanding. My question is? Can I replace gmail with inbox? I don't do anything that would require constant email I send a email (1) a week at best....

Can I replace gmail with inbox?

I have! I haven't opened the Gmail app on an Android device since Inbox launched. The only thing I still use good ol' gmail.com for is attaching money to an email (I could just send the money directly from Wallet, but I like the idea of paperclipping some dollars directly to a message for some reason).

I've found Inbox to be a great replacement for Gmail, but that really depends on your usage needs.
