Help Google Map application display abnormal screen

I use the map application at portrait mode and press the menu key. The menu will overlay above the map. At this time, I rotate the device to landscape mode. Sometimes the map image will abnormally. The failed rate about 1/10.

Did someone meet the same problem ?

I suspect the display issue you're seeing is related to the way the memory allocates space for dynamic resizing of the screen as the device uses the accelerometer to detect movement such as rotation.

The reason the display is not exactly the same (1 in 10 you say in this case) is likely because the "old" screens are in RAM queue to be brought up quickly, then get pushed out for a newer version after enough rotations/changes have taken place.

I would like to know why does it only occur when there has other layer overlay above the map ?
