Google maps, drop pin and star it

I used to have an iPhone. In the Maps app, it was possible to drop a pin, tap the pin then bookmark it.

This is useful for instance when you're in a nature reserve for instance, if you want to return to a certain point later.

How can I do the same in the Android version of Google Maps?

Same in Android: Long press on the place at the map, tap the place marker to open the place, then star the place (up right corner)
