Help Google Maps Nav through car bluetooth issues

Long story short. Google Maps navigation was working fine through my cars bluetooth for a while and now it is not. When I first noticed this, it was not the result of performing an OS upgrade or a system settings change from what I recall.

I can tell you that it is not a headunit problem. No changes have been made, plus phone calls and Tasker profiles (with AutoVoice) work just fine.

Also, I have "Play voice over Bluetooth" enabled in the Google Map settings.

Maybe the following will help you understand how it was working.....

You know how Tasker uses the call function (or in my case the System function) within tasks to play the audio? Basically the phone acts like t is on a call and when the message or call I get ends. the "call" drops. This is how Google Maps navigation worked for me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to add...this has been going on for about a month. I currently have CM 12 5.11 nightly from 7/28 installed.

When the issue arose, was it in accordance with a rom update, tasker update, or Maps update?

Definitely not a rom or Tasker update. I don't know recall if Maps updated, but if it did, this may be my next move.

I did a factory reset today and let all of the apps update automatically before I tested it again (no change). It's my understanding that even though I may update the OS with the latest nightly, the gapps I installed when I first rooted and started using nightlies does not change. I will factory reset it again soon and test it before I perform app (Tasker) installs and (Maps) updates.
