Help Google Maps, star location

In Google Maps, when boarding search and find a location, I want to start it. On my phone I have a star that let's me star and unstar the location. However, when I search on the Nexus 7, I don't see the star. Is anyone else seeing this?

tap on the location, and then click the menu from the upper right corner of the screen

Bring up the address or business you want to mark by touching the dialogue above the bubble mark on the map. Hit the settings icon (3 vertical dots in upper right), select 'Add Star'. To remove a star, if one doesn't show, also bring up the location from 'My Places', settings, 'Remove Star'.

Thanks everyone. I was expecting to see a star on the box that pops up.

Did you find it? I see it in the popup box if I click on the > arrow. It's above and to the right of where it says "map, directions, call"

Sort of on the same topic...

Has anybody had any success with downloading maps? I had an epic fail with it yesterday. I tried to get directions for an area I had saved and it just sat there looking at me like I was crazy. Had to revert to cell phone nav.
