google maps????

first let me say hello to all, i'm new here and to this subject. i have a flytouch3 and have been trying to download google maps to it and just cant get it to do so. i've even gon to android market and tried to get it on my sd card but that didn't work . are ther any little secrets i'm missing or can someone tell me how to do this , thanks in advance. i'm not looking to get spoon fed but i just cant get this to work

Likely it's something specific to your device. Most of the android phones have maps already installed by default.
