google messenger MMS problem

Hi all , using lg g3 and Google messenger , MMS don't show up when I'm sent one , if I switch to the stock message app I see the MMS waiting for download , when it does eventually show in messenger it won't download but everything works fine with stock message app , any ideas ??

Check the APN details for MMS are correct and present. You'll have to get these from your carrier.

Hi , yeah I did that when I got the phone , MMS works fine on stock app
