Google music beta music doesnt show up on my android phone?

Hi,

Just got invited to the google music service. Uploaded around 60 songs to the cloud. But the songs dont show up on my android stock music player. local songs are displayed.

I have a motorola droid 2 global running android 2.2 fission 2.4.3. I have the latest music app installed from the market and auto sync enabled. I read the FAQ and it said I should enable music sync and chooses the account in the music app itself. neither options are available on my phone. There is no music sync in the auto sync menu and there is no settings menu in the music app.

Any help would be appreciated!
 
Go into your settings > Accounts & sync settings > and then check the Auto-sync option. Try that.

EDIT: didn't read that you tried that already, that's what solved my issue. How long ago did you get the invite? I would try rebooting your phone.
 
I too have the newest music app from the market, have 10 or so test songs uploaded to the server (music beta), and have rebooted the phone, but none of the songs uploaded to the server show up. Songs directly added to the phone show up and play fine, but that doesn't really help now does it.

Android 2.2
System Version 2.3.20
Music App v 3.0.1 stored on phone SD card

Does the app need to be on the phone, not the SD card??
Shouldn't it sync over data networks?

I uninstalled music app, reinstalled, rebooted, and it worked. Hope it helps. I have a samsung fascinate 2.2. You must have at least android 2.2.

I certainly would try installing it on the phone and not the SD first.
