Google Music

hey

I am super excited about he new Google music service but since i don't live in the US i have to wait a bit longer but all in all it cool. I have a question when i upload my itunes library to the music cloud let say i change my mac; can re download it back to my new mac instead of transferring by a memory stick

Just to clarify:

1) You want to use Google Music to upload your songs from iTunes on one Mac computer. You then want to re-download from Google Music to another Mac?

This would take a long time compared to using the Memory stick, and you wouldn't use iTunes, you would use the Google Music application.

2) Or do you want to use Google Music's streaming service on more than one computer?

Google Music allows you to connect 5 devices to your Google Music account. So you could have 5 PCs, 5 phones, or any combination of 5. So you could have a Mac, a PC, an Android Tablet, and 2 Android phones connected. I don't believe iOS has a Google Music app because Apple will block it.

No basically let say i have some of my own songs in the cloud and i want to downloaded them to my mac can I ??? its that i have been told you can only upload songs to the cloud not download unless you bough them on the google music store.

The answer for now is no. There are ways to play music for when offline on your phone though but that is it. I think there is also a chrome add on to download the current song you are listening to.
