Google Navigation stuck at Searching for GPS

I have aSamsung GT i5700 and when I load Goole maps Navigation it just says Searching for GPS. Follow route works as do other GPS apps. Any ideas?

Just wondering where you read this. I've also seen this on my moto droid recently as has another family member. Curious to know where this was posted. Thanks!
