I have a Google Nexus 7 (2012) running Lollipop with two user accounts, myself and my son. Whenever I switch users and go back to myself the Google keyboard no longer pops up. When I try to enter text the cursor just blinks and I get no keyboard. I'm able to use a Bluetooth keyboard but the only way to get the Google keyboard again is to shut down the tablet and restart.

I am getting the same problem. Quite frustrating.
