So how long does it take for Google Now to actually, you know, be useful? Granted, I have only had it for six days (since 12/14), but I can't see it actually doing anything other than update sports scores (for teams that *I* created cards for), show the weather and show how long it is from work to home and back (which is not correct - traffic jams are for people who don't know back roads). When at home, it always shows the same three restaraunts in the Places section (all three of which have sucky food, by the way), even though I have checked into a couple of dozen places since I got the app and it never recomemnds those places or even acknowledges them. I know it has been less than a week, but I see no evidence at all of it learning my habits or anything. I use Google Voice to search about a dozen things a day in an effort to build its database and "feed" Google Now with information, but I have yet to see it actually learn anything. Again, I know it has only been a week, but I'm wondering how long it does take before the coolness kicks in.
