Google Opinion Rewards..broken since update

Okay, last Wednesday I updated the rewards app. Since then it appears to be broken for me. When I click on it I have to sign in and then it just spins it's green wheel forever. I have tried everything I can think of. I even cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled, restarted phone and then reinstall. It will start for me once, after signing in, then if I close it I have the same issue. Other annoyance is that by doing this my balance does not show up anymore. My history is still there, but my current available balance is now zero.
 
I didn't check to see when I got my last update, but I just checked and it works. I did have a non-payable survey that I didn't get notified about though.
 
Well now it seems to work about 40% of the time. According to google play on line I have no unclaimed rewards but now my google account is showing the proper amount as a payment source. Attempts to reach out to the developers via help and email have resulted in no answers.
Hopefully it will continue to improve for me. I like the program and so far have purchased an in app add on for a birding database, another app and two books.
