When trying to open Google pay on my side it says cannot open phone is rooted, not true but it is unlocked. Help

Have you done anything that would trip Knox?

Open Play Store, head to settings and stroll down to device certification. Does it say certified?

Does unlocking the bootloader trip Knox? (Assuming it has had the bootloader unlocked rather than being SIM-unlocked, which would not be relevant here).

The bootloader on the Exynos devices is unlocked out of the box, but flashing a recovery will trip Knox. The bootloader on the Snapdragon devices is locked and I don't believe there's a method to unlock it. I know the root method doesn't trip Knox but it limits the maximum charge to 80%.

It says not certified, what does that mean?

It means someone Google thinks the device has been rooted or modified in some way.

Did you buy the device direct from Samsung or your network or was it bought 2nd hand?

Bought new, not rooted. Everything else works fine
