Google Pixel GIF and keyboard problems

Hi Everyone,

I have been using pixel for two weeks now and it has some problems that made me hate the device. Was wondering if anyone has similar issues or any solution recommendations.

1)GIFs stop playing half way through, sometimes after one second sometimes 10.
2) keyboard keeps disappearing with some messaging apps, it ops back up after a second. Makes it very hard to text.
3) phone shows status bar of the videos every 10 seconds precisely. I watch a full screen video and in 10 sec it shows the video name and status bar of the video.

I have not experienced any of these issues in the two weeks I have had my pixel XL.

I would recommend doing a factory reset on your device. If the problem persists, call Google.

@Retired SuperHero what apps are you using for viewing GIFs, messaging, and watching videos? Additionally, are you using a keyboard app other than the default?

Hi default app for keyboard.i actually got a solution. A messaging app was causing all these. Uninstalled it and all is well now.
