Google Pixel rooted battery life

I just signed up for Verizon and received a Google Pixel. First thing I did when I got home was unlock the bootloader and root the phone. But, for the most part, the phone is pretty debloated which is why I chose it. But, the battery life still is not that stellar. I wanted to load "Juice Defender" but it crashes when loading. Googling it, it appears the app isnt compatible with my version of Android OS (too new I guess.) Does anyone have any tips for optimizing battery on the Google Pixel? I'd like for all radios to turn off when not being used which is why I wanted Juice Defender. I am using Greenify and Coolify but still battery life isn't that great.
