Google Play = Amazon MP3 Player ?

I have both Google Play music player and Amazon MP3 Player downloaded on my Spectrum. I know I put Amazon on there, but don't remember putting Google on there (not really relevent?). Anywho, I've only downloaded one album through Google Play, and about a thousand songs through Amazon. Looks like everything (play lists, artists...) is on each app, but if I delete a song off Google, it takes it off Amazon also.
Don't know if it matters, as far as storage or battery usage, if I have both apps, but I really don't need/want the Google app. Any ideas? TIA :smokingsomb:
The Google Play app is a pre-loaded app that Verizon put on.

Both players are reading the music from one file and that will happen if song is deleted. To get rid of Google's player, have you tried Menu: Settings: Applications: Manage Application: then look for Google's player and see if you can uninstall it, if it's in there. (or something like this)

The Google app is a Veizon-loaded app that can't be deleted (unless phone is rooted). No biggie. I've learned not to mess with the Google app and just use the Amazon music player. Thanks for the advice though. :)
