I have no idea why someone would go back to an obscure song, by an obscure band, and remaster it... but they did.
I have the album 'Here Today, Tomorrow, Next Week!' by the Sugarcubes on compact disc. It's a delightful album with some of the most fun lyrics you'll find. The song 'Planet' is a ballad that starts off with a guitar riff and drums... and ends the same way. Or it DID.
Suddenly, the track in my Google Play library has a string section added, particularly in the intro and outro! The whole dynamic of the song is changed! I listened to the CD and, sure enough - it has been altered.
Has anyone else here experienced this? Why would someone go back to a 20 year old track just to add strings? Makes no sense!
