I have been using Google Play Music for a while now and am starting to have issues. Basically, while it sees new songs added to iTunes as it should, is does not see changes and is actually displaying wrong album art or song information for some tracks, with iTunes is correct.
As an example, I did cleanup of iTunes songs and corrected the tag data and added album art. Google Play either ignores the changes, adds another copy of the same song with the new data (meaning manual delete of the old one) or adds the new track with another set of wrong data. It actually uploaded an album and placed two tracks from it that are correct in iTunes as coming from a Kelly Clarkson album! Um, no... i Tunes has it right.
What is the solution? Delete ALL the music I have online for Google play and tell it to upload all 3000 tracks again hoping it cleans up?
Clearly this is not an "iTunes sync" ... but I can't have multiple copies of the same songs with strong data on Google play music to stream to my phone. help!
