google play notifications won't go away

[Android Question]

I have a samsung exhibit 2 and I keep getting these google play icons pilling up on the top of my screen and cant determine how to get rid of/address whatever they are notifying me of. WHY ARE THEY THERE? What are they telling me? How do I engage in whatever process they a re repeatedly(yet subtly) imploring me to set forth?

The messages are inviting you to visit the Playstore and update your apps The have prepared a nice party and wonder why you are not in attendance.

Hie thee to the Playstore, check "Update All" and be amazed at the speed with which said notifications magically become "successfully updated."

Then, pull down the menu at the top and look for the doohickey that clears the notifications. Not entirely sure what it looks like on your phone, but on mine it is three little lines on the top right side. If I touch those, the notifications clear.

You might also want to join forums and find the folders for your phone. Folks on here are very helpful.
