Google play services keeps crashing

It just won't stop.

I got the latest software update. I have the latest version of the app, and the play store is updated as well. (Which I think is when the problem has started). I tried to downgrade the version but it won't install. And the latest update won't uninstall manually either.
I deleted the cache of all google apps and restarted the device multiple times, and rebooted in safe mode but it won't stop crashing every five seconds.

Factory reset the phone.
Backup all important data first

You were also having problems with other apps crashing recently. Did you manage to resolve those, or is this the latest manifestation of the problem? And did you try a reset, as suggested in the other thread, already?
