Google Play Store new UI

Do you like this new UI?

I opened the Play Store this afternoon and found that the UI had been remotely altered once again, without an actual update of the store.
This isn't new though. This same UI was pushed by google back in April, and then too, I had received it, but only for a few days or so.
All it does mainly is change the app screens, and the main suggestions screen along with the search results remain more or less the same.

I'm pretty sure that if you check the Play Store app version you'll find it's changed. Play Store updates are controlled by Google Play Services, and are always silent.

It's their "material design 2" rollout. Basically making everything whiter(*). Be thankful that they've not coloured everything else in some hideous pastels, like they've done with their phone, contacts and messages apps!

(*) Maybe this is why Android 9 makes such a fuss about battery optimisation: white uses more power on OLED displays, so they need better optimisation to offset their UI decisions...?

It's not like I came with nothing to back myself up, man.
I did check the version before posting, and it still, as of now, says version 11.7.11; ie. The version that was released on 13th September according to apkmirror.com.
Also, I checked for updates last morning, and while it was still on the old ui, I switched my phone off. Later on i booted in again, and a while later it was all changed.

Attached screenshot should sum up.
