Google Reader

Hi,
I am trying to add a RSS reader app. When I select a link, a Google reader message is displayed saying it is discontinued. I have tried deleting the app, but the page still appears even after installing other feed readers. How do you get rid of it?

I am trying to add ABC radio national feeds.

Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to install an app, or add a feed to an app you already have installed? If you're trying to install an app, I have no idea why you'd be getting such a message. If you're trying to add a feed, if you provide a link to the page where you're clicking on the link to add the feed, it may clarify things, but my guess is that the link you're clicking on is directly tied to Google Reader and you're getting a message from Google stating that Reader has been discontinued. If that's the case, you may need to contact the site's owner to have the link removed or corrected, or to get an alternate link.

Thanks for your reply Uncle Mike,

It is as you say, I was trying to add a feed to a new app. I have now learnt how to cut and paste on the tablet and to make the new app work. It is annoying that it is not automated like the Google app, but it seems like Google is taking over everything and doesn't want to let any bit of control go.
Cheers, Bill
