Help Google sends new device notification...

Accept no imitations!
... every time I reboot my phone!

I can't reboot or power on my phone without Google sending me notifications, for all three Google accounts, asking me if I just signed in with a new device. I have no idea if this is a Google issue or a Note 8 issue.

Anyone else experiencing this, or know a fix?

Clean cache? google play services cache?

i have 3 different gmail accounts on the phone plus they are also reflected on the android smart wear watch. all play nicely.

maybe just a cache issue bro. obviously it just started, so let's retrace our steps... :)

I have multiple Google accounts set up on my note 8 and, as a matter of course, reboot every few days. Never get this. I know this is of zero value, but it does let you know that its not a normal issue.

Whoops - I'm taking back the gold star.

I powered down my Note 8 because I'm having a devil of a time with Bluetooth connectivity. As soon as I powered it up, 'Did you just sign in?' and I tap the notification and it goes to...

An empty web page.

Sounds like you are having some issues onboard your device. :p

Clearing cache helped but something on board is tripping that link.

Perhaps clear your history/cache on the browsers?

Do a app cache clear?

Do you have a smart watch connected?

ahhhhhhh grashoppa!!!! :D

android wear can cause this glitch too! i have a moto 360 and one time i had a similiar issue with the 360 on my asus zenfone. clearing google play services (After a cursory interwebs search) fixed that nag screen.

for me in my instance, I factory reset the watch, clear google services, then cleared phone cache in the bootup menu. worked perfectly.
