Google Sync Calendar/Contacts Not Working on Droid X

Not sure when this started, or if it has been happening all along, but if I go to Settings/Accounts/G[oogle account], I see that my Sync Gmail is syncing regularly, but my Sync Calendar and Sync Contacts is not happening automatically. I can click them and they will sync, but they don't seem to be happening automatically. Is this a setting issue, or some sort or bug?
