Google taking action against Haykuro Rom users....your thoughts?

hey, patience is a virtue.

Especially considering that using cooked software can brick your phone. Devs and hackers are smart, but even they make fatal mistakes. Best to let the experts do the heavy lifting, they're responsible if they mess up.

Since this is the first attempt to mainstream "Open source" it's not at all surprising that people have unrealistic expectations of it. Did anyone notice all the comments in the market when the paid apps arrived. I still see people writing things like "Keep the market open like they promised, don't pay for apps!" Nobody made any promises or guarantees.

Reminds me of when I was four and I'd get mad about something and say "It's not fair!!!" and my Mom would gently remind me "Honey, nobody ever said life would be fair."

To be honest, the only reason why I think Google are making a big deal out of it, is because they haven't even released the update yet....

If it was already out..I doubt they'd make such a big deal about the whole thing...

Then again..they could just be doing this because these hackers are making them look bad for taking so long to release the update...

But I'm just going to re-iterate what I said on the other forums.....

I don't think it's fair for people to be ahead of the game while the others are left behind...
Even though everyone potentially could be ahead of the game, if they wanted to be...
