google talk/aim help

every time someone IMs me on aim i get a notification on my phone from google talk. how can i turn this off and stopping getting notified through google?

Hi Sam, welcome aboard. I don't use Aim so I'm pretty much a dry source of information. I might suggest you check out the discussion area for your phone and see if the users there might have the answer to your Gtalk problem. Not knowing which phone you are using, here is a link to the list of phone areas we have here at Android Forums. Just open the list and then give your phone a click.
