Google Talk Emoticons

I've been using my Droid for a day and noticed that the emoticons for google talk are little android emoticons, which I don't particularly like. Is there any way to change them to look normal??

Hi Jonee and Welcome to the forum

Unfortunately the emoticons in the default Google talk can not be changed , But you can use alternative messenger apps like "NimBizz" or "eBuddy".
