Google testing huge banner ads

Guess we're starting to see their true colours. Google is basically first and foremost an advertising company. That's how they make most of their revenue, that pays for all those nice "free" services we use.
 
Honestly do not see a problem at all. Google makes a large portion off ads, so why not take it a bit further ads. Ads make the world go round, dont they?
 
Ad's on their web page do pay for things. I don't like the animated ones that fly across the screen like can be seen on Yahoo. I don't mind the ones on the side, and have even looked at some if they were of interest to me. Just don't bias search results for advertising reasons, is all I am asking..

Of course...however I never actually see ads on my computers. TBH I'm not really interested in dating, or discount Gucci, or that my Apple Macbook is infected with Windows malware. I see plenty of ads on TV, newspapers, magazines and billboards though.

Those advertising markets are declining and the rate of online advertising is gaining. I don't mind Sharing information with google or Microsoft that they can use in advertising to better my experience. when I get bad ads it annoys me but when I get ads that actually target me, I am more likely to Click on them just to Check them out. like the new Dell tablets that are Android powered. Yes it was an ad that lead me there, and
