Google translator button not appearing anymore

When I was using watsap and chatting my foreign friends, when I copied their text, the google translator was automatically appearing.

But now, after the android update, it doesnt happen. I tried settings in translator app but there is nothing to enable that.

Settings > Tap to translate > Enable

did not work.

How can I make the translator app button automatically appear whenever i copy a foreign language text?

Uninstall your Google Translator app at first. And then get the latest version of this app reinstalled on your device.
Now check whether the feature works well.
