Google TV and Comcast

I searched around a little bit and couldn't find anything. Hopefully you guys can help... I just got my Sony Google TV and was setting it up and when I programmed the channels it only found 1. I was kind of afraid it would do this. I am not using it off of the Cable box, I have one of the mini-box's that comcast gives you with their own remote you have to use. I was curious if there is away around this. If I use the comcast remote I can change channels but if I use the Google TV remote it gives me static for the other channels. Thanks

Are you talking about a DTA box or a Digital box? Either way if you are getting static it is because you are changing the channel of the TV and not the cable box. The box won't broadcast static.
