Just curios if anyone could help me out with trying to get my video chat to work (again). I say 'again' because I had it working once with Google chat, until I rooted. All I had to do when it was working is go into my contacts and I could see my contacts google status (green orange) just as if I was on my gmail account with my laptop. Now their status no longer shows on the phone, but still does on laptop so I can see contact status.
4 day old Razr Maxx rooted with motofail.
Not sure what other info needed to help, but please let me know what might help.
Just for some reference I went to the Motorola site

and it correctly says: "Touch the Video icon to the right of your friend's name in the Friends list."
That icon was there, before I rooted.
What I have been unable to find is where it tells me what to do if that icon is not there.
The front facing camera itself seems to be working fine as far as I can tell.
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
