Google voice - different question

I do have a google voice number. I need written instructions for how I would like to use it, if possible.

I am the main account holder for our phones. I get all the spam calls. I mostly
look them up at "who calls me" for example.

But I do deal with companies that have an 800 number for me to call in - but when the call is returned, the return call could be made using many different lines.
These are the numbers I might like to check, but without my TMO number showing. Can GV be used for this purpose? There should be no connection to my TMO#?

If you want to place a call and have your GV number show, not your cell number then you can set GV to 'ask every time'. You will get a little pop up when you place a call, choose your cell number or your GV number.
If you call the same numbers and they are in your phone book you can use an app like Voice Choice | AppBrain Android Market That's a good app but the numbers have to be in your phone book so you can select them. You can set your list up for numbers to use GV or for numbers to not use GV.
I believe both will be combined...if it's in your phone book VC will know what to do, if it's not it will ask you. I haven't used that app in a while so am not 100% sure.
