Google Voice on Verizon SGSIII

Hey guys how do I set up google voice to make all of my calls? I tried doing a normal setup but it says that the carrier does not support this. Please help!

I did and when it makes calls it says that the call can't be made. Also how do I set up the voice mail to work through gvoice?

You need to go to voice.google.com on your pc and activate voice mail from there. It will give you a number to call on your phone.

Google really needs to make explicit directions which state you must go to full website to set up Google Voice. So many people get frustrated and blame it on the app.

Once voice is set up correctly, voicemail, text, mssed calls, should all go to one inbox. The only thing voice cannot do is MMS. Verizon should have an integrated service just like Sprint.

It's not necessary on most androids phones. The SG3 has a bug and cannot do the activation/auhorization so you must go to the website.

This issue and question pops up about once a week. Too bad nobody uses search.
