Google Voice SMS.....I have searched and seached but.......

I cant seem to find anyone that has specifically discussed if there is an app that will send a notification when an SMS comes into Google Voice. Mind you I think I had read that you can have it sent to your Gmail inbox but that kinda defeats the purpose of GV SMS. LOL

Help :(
 
Are you using the GV app for Android? Seems to work pretty well for me, instant notifications in the taskbar, and the mesage in my GV inbox.
 
In the Android Market, there is a free application called Google Voice that you install. Once installed, there are not many settings. It will link up with your Google Voice account and notify you of voicemails and text messages. If you choose, it can also place your calls using Google Voice so that callers see your Google Voice number instead of your cell number.
