google voice text scheduler to silence ?

I use google voice for phone and text for work and my cell# and regular text for personal on my droid x.

Is there an app that i can set a schedule to silence incoming text or schedule what times incoming text to receive for google text only. This way i can keep my work on a schedule and still have my phone for personal use for after work hours.

i woiuld like to still use phone and regular text.

sounds like you want tasker. unfortunately google voice isn't mature enough to have 'quiet hours' like some messaging apps do.

Tasker cannot specifically mute or schedule google voice alerts, as far as I know. The OP wishes to have other texts and alerts function normally.

I looked at tasker and it looks pretty powerful. So would i be able to create a program within tasker for what i need to silent or postpone text from google with a schedule.

GV does allow for scheduling of call forwarding to your phones but I don't know of an equivalent for text messages.

Not by itself. With the GV plugin for Locale it can enable and disable Do Not Disturb but I'm not sure if that affects text messages. It might only be for calls.
