Have asked this question multiple times on the Google Voice help forum and haven't got a single reply yet. So I was hoping someone here had an answer.
When people call me and get my voicemail recording which consists of "Please state your name after the tone and google voice will try to connect you. *beep* The google voice subscriber *beep*" it then begins recording the voicemail, however all of my callers are unaware of that they are being recorded, which I don't blame them as the recording cuts out early...
I have the system standard set as my recording... No where can I find a setting to turn off the state your name feature? If I don't want this feature how do I turn it off? Im wondering if the recording is just too long for Verizon? It acts like it only has so much time.
