According to emails being sent out -- as well as Google's newly updated Wallet support page -- Google will soon kill Wallet's tap-to-pay feature on Android devices running anything below Android 4.4 KitKat.
Very annoying. I really liked tap to pay on my 4.3 device. Samsung GN2. Retailers are going to be very unhappy and less likely to stick out their neck for another new Google payment option if it requires new point of sale hardware. I think this is a very bad move at a time where Apple has just entered the payment game.
